Five Month Update

Adeline is 13 lbs and just over 24 inches 

She is finally taking a bottle! 

Addie loves keeping busy in her play saucer, her wooden kitchen spoon, and grabbing faces

She is very interested in everything around her and wants to drool on anything she can get her hands on. 

Still need to work on that napping in the crib....

This hat was so big when we brought her home...and now it barely fits!

 Unfortunately, I forgot the carrier at home so Daddy's arms got a workout.

Four Months

Addie is about 12 lbs and 24 inches. 

Likes: giggles and squeals, sitting or 'standing' up, chewing on everything, flying or swinging up in the air

She is starting to teeth a bit, going through the 4 month sleep regression, and still refuses a bottle - good thing she is cute and cuddly!

Captivated

The past few weeks have been all about hand -eye coordination.  

Adeline can now pick things up on her own, pass them between each hand, and bring them up to her mouth.  

Despite the freezing cold weather we have been getting out of the house most days. 

We are probably still another month away from transitioning to the crib (Momma doesn't want to have to walk down the hall two or three times a night until she really doesn't fit in the bassinet any more), but we decided to check it out for some play time. 

As my Dad used to say, " In every young girl's life, a little rain must fall." 

 And then suddenly things are better when you flip upside down and find new distractions. 

Look at that concentration! 

Weekends with Daddy are still the best!
